Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Washington DC (July 2009)- Participant in full day consultation on the FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF PBCORE AS A METADATA STANDARD FOR PUBLIC RADIO AND TELEVISION.

 

New York Public Library, New York City, NY  (April 2009) - Invited to present and lead half-day discussion on ISSUES IN PLANNING A DIGITAL REPOSITORY with twenty staff members of the Digital Library Team and Media Departments.

 

Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Washington DC (July 2007 – August 2009) -  Participant in two full day consultations to CREATE GOALS FOR THE AMERICAN ARCHIVE AS A NEW ENTITY IN PUBLIC BROADCASTING to preserve and access public radio and television programming.

 

Nebraska Educational Television, Lincoln NE (November 2007) – Convened an all-day consultation with 30 participants from Nebraska Public Radio, NETV, Nebraska Humanities Center, U. of Nebraska Library School, Historical Society, State Archives and others TO EXPLORE PARTNERSHIPS FOR DIGITAL PRESERVATION of state history recorded on media.

 

Digital Library Federation, Berkeley, CA (June 2007) – Participant in two-day consultation on commercial agreements with libraries on digitizing moving image collections.

 

Motion Picture/Broadcasting/Recorded Sound Division, Library of Congress, Los Angeles CA (July 2006) – Participant in two-day consultation to plan 10-Year Report to Congress on the accomplishments and needs of the Division.

 

Jerome Robbins Dance Collection, New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, New York NY (2004) – Participant in series of consultations over a 6-month period to plan digitization and preservation of major collection of dance films, videos and related materials.
